States’ Rights: Montana Sovereignty Resolution Dies; Governor Signs 2nd Amendment Bill
The last couple of weeks have proven lively for the great State of Montana. On the one hand, HR3 effectively died in the State House:
A RESOLUTION OF THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE STATE OF MONTANA ARTICULATING THE RIGHTS OF THE STATE OF MONTANA AND OF THE SEVERAL STATES OF THE UNITED STATES.
Action – Most Recent First Date Votes Yes Votes No Committee (H) 2nd Reading Pass Motion Failed 04/22/2009 50 50
The GreatFallsTribune has some coverage on HR3 here.
On the other hand, Montana is claiming its Second Amendment rights via HB246:
AN ACT EXEMPTING FROM FEDERAL REGULATION UNDER THE COMMERCE CLAUSE OF THE CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES A FIREARM, A FIREARM ACCESSORY, OR AMMUNITION MANUFACTURED AND RETAINED IN MONTANA; AND PROVIDING AN APPLICABILITY DATE.
(H) Signed by Governor 04/15/2009

I thought that is what “The One” already did, Apologize, on his trip to Europe and South America /Mexico. ” We inconsiderate arrogant Americans, did it so “I, The One”, will make Americans Pay for It with Cap and Trade”
I am also afraid many of the leaders are over educated by our leftists Commie education folks who have infiltrated so many of our school systems and colleges. Poisoning the minds of our youth and dulling their common sence. I believe this was a big part of the Chicago Annenberg Challenge if I am understanding it correctly from the bit of info I have read concerning locking up the documents of the Annenberg Challenge. It was about pushing Communism on these Chicago school kids. Bill Ayers, Obama and friends.
I think everyone should read this article from the Steady Drip if you have not seen it.

I wrote to all our democrat representatives to ask why they voted against HR 3 with all that is happening in this country and the threat to the Constitution and to our Rights. One had actually responded with 2 simple words: Here is the response I received from Representative Robyn Driscoll:

paranoid, much?
That was it those 2 words that to me showed just how intelligent, how much she cares about the people of Montana. Not long ago another of our Representatives from the Billings area wrote this in response to an editorial by Chuck Baldwin on the stand they made at the Alamo. I was flabergasted by this:

I did thoroughly enjoy this column. The point about the media is in my opinion the strongest point made. If todays media had been in place, I can’t help but wonder how many of our history changing events would have ever taken place.
Montana unfortunately will not be the place to make the stand for freedom. We have one of the highest numbers of government employees per capita of any state. We also have a problematic state constitution which attracts too many with a liberal perspective.
In my opinion, the only way to make a stand for real freedom in our country today is to pick a state with a small population ( like Wyoming ) and organize a move to that state by a large number of freedom lovers who then in effect control the government and thus set up the government ( or not ) that they desire.
Thanks for giving people something to think about.

I can’t help but wonder in light of these 2 responses, do the good citizens of Montana stand much of a chance of this government protecting our rights?
Capitalism ‘threatens life on the planet’
http://rabble.ca/news/2009/04/declaration-cuman%C3%A1-capitalism-threatens-life-planet
“We, the Heads of State and Government of Bolivia, Cuba, Dominica, Honduras, Nicaragua and Venezuela [Willima Ayer's and Obama's friend Hugo Chavez]…
1. Capitalism is leading humanity and the planet to extinction…
2. Capitalism has caused the environmental crisis, by submitting the necessary conditions for life in the planet, to the predominance of market and profit…
3. The global economic crisis, climate change, the food crisis and the energy crisis are the result of the decay of capitalism, which threatens to end life and the planet…”
So, when does Obama apologize to the UN-Americans for the United States leading humanity and the planet to extinction, for the environmental crisis, for the global economic crisis, climate change, the food crisis and the energy crisis?
So, when does the DHS add “capitalists” to Obama’s list of “domestic terrorists”?

United States Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas states the following:
“…the framers …understood that for liberty to exist the populace needed to be educated enough to understand liberty and to be able to defend liberty. They also understood that liberty was not on automatic pilot, that liberty would not exist simply because it was once started, and that having won it it was very delicate and had to be protected…” http://www.thehopeforamerica.com/play.php?id=897
Please open a manufacturing facility in the State of Montana, so right-wing extremists, like Clarence Thomas, will be able to “defend liberty”, for “liberty” must be “protected” from arrogant unconstitutional left-wing extremist elitists and their followers, the uneducated left-wing extremist populace, who don’t “understand liberty”, but are willing to exchange their “liberty” simply for false “Hope” and “Change”.

Hardin jail tries for detainees from Gitmo

Perhaps Montana should convert the detention facility into a firearms and explosives manufacturing facility so the left-wing extremists from Gitmo can realize their full potential as Obamahdinejihadists…
