Illinois residents urge your state representative to co-sponsor this resolution. Some have said “without Chicago getting behind it it will not get done”, I say hogwash get your state rep. to sign on as a co-sponsor, let the Chicago political machine be seen as the hold out. Then push it hard to ‘them’ instead of the other way around. And honestly the resolution doesn’t go far enough as far as I am concerned, but it is a start.
