    Mary,

What the heck does “do pass” mean?

Does it mean that they passed on discussing the bill in committee or does it mean it got through the comittee and is on its way to the house?

If the bill is in Committee and it has been assigned, “do pass,” that means the Committee recommends it to be passed in the particular chamber (such as the House).
