MT Candidate Eligibility Bill Tabled

Per Ballot-Access.org:

On February 19, the Montana Senate Administration Committee table SB 474, which would have required all presidential candidates to submit a copy of a birth certificate, in order to be on either the primary or general election ballot, or even to qualify as a declared write-in candidate. The bill was by Senator Aubyn Curtiss (R-Fortine).

The status page shows this bill to be “probably dead,” because it was tabled in Committee on February 19.
