A joint session of Congress certified the election of Barack Obama as President of the United States and Joseph Biden as Vice President. The electoral vote total was 365 electoral votes for Pres.-Elect Obama and Vice Pres.-Elect Biden and 173 electoral votes for Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) and Gov. Sarah Palin (R-AK). Vice President Dick Cheney announced the results.
President-Elect Barack Hussein Obama is slated to be sworn in on Inauguration Day, Tuesday, January 20, 2009, becoming America’s 44th President of the United States.

I can’t believe that I’m reading this outside of some cheap fictional novel. The whole freaking government (federal and state!) is in on the conspiracy? Why? Why would every single member of Congress suddenly decide to give up their normal jobs and sign on to a conspiracy orders of magnitude bigger than anything imagined, much less than ever happened?
Go over to the Wikipedia and read the article on Conspiracy Theory.
So let me get this straight: All the Secretaries of State and the Electoral College and the entire Congress (and the Supreme Court in Donofrio, Wrotnowski and come Monday Berg) are in complete agreement, and you disagree.
So that makes you right? I think that you should at least consider the possibility that somebody is yanking your chain.

Consider me the eternal optimist. If there’s a 1% chance that something could happen, then, it could happen.
On the other hand, I’m also a realist by experience. That means I attempt to “prepare for the worst but expect the best.” Part of this is intended to mean that I think we ought to learn why, exactly, it was that a given variable has changed in a situation; or, if it’s the same variable, what has to change in the situation to produce a different outcome.
Bottom line: Odds are highly likely it will be dismissed. That’s why it’s always good to have an end-game; mine is to support long-term, fundamental electoral process reform.

I’l tell you what I told Leo Donofrio when he was saying that his case wasn’t denied on Dec. 5th.
“Considering how important the case is, it would seem odd for the court to announce other cases that were granted and not announce yours”
I know this is not your case but, you are supporting it so..
Anyways I guess we will see come monday.

They leave off any info about the case we care about. And we find out on Monday that it’s officially denied.

Bergs case was denied.
The Surpeme Court released 4 cases that were granted during todays conference.
Berg V. Obama, was not one of them.

Like I said…the cause is dead and gone!
It’s long time coming. And turning things around can take just as long. Look how many years it took before the colonies revolted against Britian. It takes time.
Example: People are always complaining about how prayer was taken out of the schools and that’s why the schools are so bad now. Oh contraire, there’s more to it. I heard one preacher say, “God has NEVER condoned public education!” God has never been for sending our children out of the home and letting the government raise them. I believe public education made it’s prominent push in the early 1900’s. John Dewey is considered the founder of public education. He was the most prominent signer of the Humanist Manifesto which opens:
“The time has come for widespread recognition of the radical changes in religious beliefs throughout the modern world. The time is past for mere revision of traditional attitudes.”
The Manifesto written in 1933 consists of 15 points of belief. I’ll quote a few:
FIRST: Religious humanists regard the universe as self-existing and not created.
SECOND: Humanism believes that man is a part of nature and that he has emerged as a result of a continuous process.
SIXTH: We are convinced that the time has passed for theism, deism, modernism, and the several varieties of “new thought”.
NINTH: In the place of the old attitudes involved in worship and prayer the humanist finds his religious emotions expressed in a heightened sense of personal life and in a cooperative effort to promote social well-being.
FOURTEENTH: The humanists are firmly convinced that existing acquisitive and profit-motivated society has shown itself to be inadequate and that a radical change in methods, controls, and motives must be instituted. A socialized and cooperative economic order must be established to the end that the equitable distribution of the means of life be possible. The goal of humanism is a free and universal society in which people voluntarily and intelligently cooperate for the common good. Humanists demand a shared life in a shared world.
As you can see. Humanism back then was anti-bible, anti-church and pro-socialism; and proud of it. And this outlined the beliefs of the one who is considered the ‘founder of public education’ You see, we were duped 100 years ago. And this is just ONE aspect of society. It’s a wonder it’s taken this long for idealogies to permeate society enough to bring this country down. It’s just the good grace of God, his mercy and long-suffering, that have stayed the fall of this country.
The change that Obamatoids have been singing is the same change liberals have been working at for over 100 years. We aren’t going to turn this around overnight. However, with God all things are possible.
I agree with you AmericaMustKnow—–My mother who is 76 years young has been predicting this demise of America for at least since Roe vs. Wade and has been praying for its overturn ever since then. The people of this country just elected the biggest abortionist in our countries history. When respect for life goes…..so goes our lives!!!!!!!
When the founding fathers declared their independance, to it they added “And for the support of this declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of Divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our lives, our fortunes and our sacred honor.”
Most of us don’t have fortunes. Sacred honor, most people laugh at phrases like that. Lives? I don’t know. I had heard somewhere that most all the men that signed their names to that document lost just about everything in the war.
Let me add this. Before the Revolution of 1776, there was an event across this land that primed the people for such a war. This was the Great Awakening of 1735-45. Some historians say that this event united the people of the colonies for the first time and created a sense of nationalism that never before existed. I’m sure some of the men that signed their names to the Declaration of Independence were but teenagers and boys that lived through this great revival that swept our land.
Also, a revolution does not necessarily mean bloodshed. Obama has performed a coup de tate without firing a single bullet. He’s hijacked this country and not one drop of blood has hit the ground for it. (That we know of at least) What am I saying? Can this country be taken back in the same fashion? What’s good for the goose is good for the gander.
Also, is taking this country back God’s will? There came a time, in AD 70 that the nation of Isreal would no longer breathe as a nation for almost 2000 years. It was God’s sovereign will that allowed the complete destruction of Israel as a nation in AD 70. Some historians believe that is was also the destruction of Jerusalem at that time that also thrusted the church along with the gospel all over this world. Does God have a purpose in allowing Obama to usurp power over this land? I’m sure he does. When John said, “Even so, come Lord Jesus…”, you realize that ‘even so’ was referring to the judgment, the darkness, the vials, the bowls, the blood, the brimstone, the death, the wrath of the Almighty God. He was saying, “Lord, if that’s what it takes before you come, then let it come.”
For those of you that are saved out there, the life we’ve lived in America is so abnormal. It is an abnormal Christian life we live. A normal Christian life is a life of persecution. A life on the run, in hiding, in danger. The freedoms we’ve enjoyed these past centuries are completely unusual and unpromised. There will be no perfect government until the King comes and established his kingdom. Until then, I don’t see how we can expect much different from what we got. Even Jefferson, when he was President referred to this government as an experiment, an experiment in democracy. I would like to say that experiment has finally failed, as it should for man is inheritently flawed. I know there’s no pure democracy, but democracy is goverment run by the people. That will never work for the people are corrupt. The only government that God condones is a theocracy, where God is in control. And there will come a day that Christ will come as King. But until then, utopian dreams are nothing more than that, utopian dreams.

This blog will not be suggesting another country into which to move. I believe that the cause of reform is a long-term effort and is not in any way constrained by current politicians or Justices.

Well I guess he is the best politician we have. Imagine how bad the other politicians happen to be. I am coming to the conclusion we the people have been hoodwinked for a long time and now the politicians figure they do not have to hoodwink us any more. My opinion is that the 1790 law had a mistake and it was corrected in 1795 as the wording of Natural Born was removed from your statement.
McCain was not born on the area occupied by US troops. He was born in a regular hospital in Panama. The soil under the hospital was Panama. Panama therefore has a right to claim he is a Panamanian citizen born on Panamanian soil. This requires laws to untangle. If ANY LAW IS REQUIRED THEN IT IS NOT NATURAL BORN. Natural Born requires that there is NO QUESTIONS about the natural born status of the person.
Natural comes from the animals. For example if you had a giraff in Hawaii and brought a male giraff to Hawaii and they had a baby and the male giraff went back to Kenya that is not natural born. If you bring frozen sperm from Africa that is not natural born. If you have 2 giraffs from the zoo get one pregnant and then ship them to Panama where the giraff is born that is not natural born. Animals naturally do not do that. When you think natural born citizen think NATURE. In NATURE animals do not run around between countries having more babies. In NATURE animals propagate naturally with the local males and females without intervention of people, laws and technology. The propagate NATURALLY and have Natural Born babies.
AmericaMustKnow—–You are right—-if the SCOTUS doesn’t do anything and nothing comes of the other lawsuits then a Revolution is all we have. The problem is who will organize the thing??? So many people want to do something yet with the state of the economy many of us are broke and have no money to travel and get everyone together on this issue!!!

My understanding is that objections, if any, may have been handled prior to the Join Session of Congress commencing. Congress was doing its constitutional duty in this manner; as long as Congress allows for objections prior to the Session adjourning, they are within their boundaries.

And as for the case Berg .v Obama that case is hopeless.
They obviously already denied his request to stop the congress vote, so I doubt they will grant the case as a whole.
And the other cases out there is not secduled to be considered untill AFTER the inuagaration.
It will be to late by then.

Let us just realize at this time and place that The Anti-Christ is about to come to power according to Biblical prophecy.

We need to get down on our hands and knees right now and thank God for the spiritual awakening that is now starting to take place. We need to pray hard that The Christ will answer our prayers to bring our country back to Him.
The US government is here to serve us. We as citizens are here to serve Christ. Yes the delegates in government are here to serve the citizens.
The government has forgotten its role. There are two distinct roles in government:
1. Publicans: [those officials who are elected to office]: Are to serve the citizens of their country as servants, not as the masters.
2. Politicians: These are the publicans who have become self centered in which they are blinded by arrogance. In their arrogance these officials choose to no longer to be in servant mode, but to put themselves into the master role. These officials do this through lying, cheating, stealing and many other forms of corruption.
Before we as citizens of this country move into being militaristic we should calmly go to our local church or synagogue get on our knees and pray like we have never done before.
Prayer is very powerful, especially in a very critical time such as this. Divine Providence does and will hear and answer our prayers.
May The Grace of The Christ be upon this nation. May The Christ give us the undaunting courage to take a firm stand to do what is right.

Who said a revolution is out of the question? I believe it’s blatently obvious that this may very well be the only recourse to curb the inevitable fate of this country. Even so, I don’t believe that America has got the moral or spiritual fortitude to go that route. We’re not broke yet.
Average Joe Shmoe is not worried about Obama’s eligibility. He’s worried about who’s going to win the college national football title or the Stuper Bowl. Half the so called patriots out there drink beer, smoke it up, shoot dope, fornicate, watch porn, cuss, gamble, indulge, invest is God knows what, watch their ungodly boob tube all day and night, rock and roll, send their kids off to the marxist breeding grounds of the public schools, and save up their money and later send them to the liberal sex soaked, drug infested, atheistic colleges. There’s no moral fortitude out there. I’m for our constitution. I can’t remember who said it, but they said that our constitution was made entirely for a MORAL people. We’ve about lost that. America is IMMORAL as a whole now. Therefore, our beloved Constitution, as we’ve been demonstrated, will no longer work for us.
You say, “I love our Constitution.” I do too. But it’s not written for us anymore. It was for a moral people. Though the United States of America has been a beacon in past history for hope and freedom, and God has used this country to bless the world, America is NOT the New Jerusalem, and never will be. I don’t know about you, but I’ve got my sights on a better country, one not made by hands of men. All great civilizations have come to an end one way or another. It’s no marvel that this one is on it’s last breath.
I have one thing to add before I go to bed. I came across this tonight in Jer 23:1 “Woe be unto the pastors that destroy and scatter the sheep of my pasture! saith the LORD.” I don’t blame the judges, or the legislators, or the executives. Our problem is not in the white house, but it’s in the church house.

Actually, cases have made it to Court. And the case against McCain was dismissed like all the other eligibility cases that have been heard thus far (at the Supreme Court, none has been granted a writ of Certiorari).

Has anyone contacted C-Span about a possible interview with one of the many who have either a case pending in SCOTUS or in the various States – like Steve Pidgeon? He/they could explain the basis of the many filings. He/she should just request an interview rather than the call in show. That would only turn the seriousness of the question into a field day and never get the people to listen and review program again. It’s current and should interest C-Span for gov./courts in action. Maybe they would have the nerve. Of course it means getting your face out there and inviting a lot of flak.
I still do not understand how some feel that Sen. McCain is not a natural born citizen. If a husband and wife are both serving in the military in, say, Iraq, and they have a child, would that child be an Iraqi citizen? Congress first recognized the citizenship of children born to U.S. parents overseas on March 26, 1790. “And the children of citizens of the United States, that may be born beyond sea, or out of the limits of the United States, shall be considered as natural born citizens.” What am I missing, here? John McCain presented his Birth Certificate and any other papers that the courts requested…How did McCain’s case make it to Court, and Obama’s does not!?
Congress and past presidents have overstepped their bounds time and time again. This is just another log on the fire. It’s a BIG log, but another log nonetheless.
Unfortunately for the United States, an illegal president exposes us to the worst kind of danger. And that is the threat of foreign power through an enemy of the state at the highest ranking position in our government. We simply don’t know who Obama is.

They were well aware of the implications, as evident in several U.S. Senate Bills proposed to more clearly define and/or change the meaning of “Natural Born Citizen”. Add Resolution 511, which everyone was aware of, and they simply cannot deny they’re understanding of their actions.
This is proof they were well aware of what they did today.
What a disgrace! After emailing and writing letters to Congressional representatives, and reading about so many other people doing the same, I was genuinely hoping that in all of Congress we would find two Good Men to object to this ridiculous, unconstitutional event–the certification of votes for America’s first illegal alien president. I have let my Congressman (a guy who claims to be concerned about illegal immigration) know that he just lost my vote.
As a small business owner, before I hire anyone–even for the lowest paid position–I have to comply with Federal law that demands I check out their eligibility to work in this country. I must certify on Form I-9 that I made a physical inspection of their hard-copy documentation (documents from a long, very specific laundry list that includes passport and visa information). Surely the scrutiny of documents should become more and more stringent as candidates apply for more and more responsible positions, not less and less until all they need to say is “We Can”?
At this point in time Obama hasn’t proven that he’s eligible to clean my bathrooms or mow my lawn. Congress, in their infinite wisdom however, having seen NO documentation whatsoever (other than a worthless, forged digital Certification of Live Birth online) just certified that Obama is eligible to run this country. God help us.

We have now been given an enormous clue as to who’s involved in this entire coverup:
1. The Electors
2. Congress
3. State officials, including governors and the SoS
4. The Supreme Court
5. The current President
6. The press
Once this information blows over he’s not eligible and is indicted, and he will by the government or by the people, they will all lose. And by lose, it could be more than just their careers.
Let us hope that this will not happen for their sake.

I agree with you 100%. I am involved with the Continental Congress and can’t wait. Our government is so out of control that there’s no reining it in. We have to start from the beginning and follow our Constitution. What has happened during the last two years as Obama ran for office and conned the sheeple is disgusting, beyond belief. I don’t have much hope for the Supreme Court, either. However, there is the state of Washington case which began oral arguments today. The plaintiffs there already were granted standing, so that was not an issue. The attorney was on Plains Radio the other evening and sounds very knowledgeable.
Can you believe it…you have to show your birth certificate to get a driver’s license, to register for school, and to obtain a pistol permit. But you don’t have to do so to run for the highest office in the land.
Obama is a con man, a liar and a fraud. I can’t wait to see him come down.
When I wrote to my Congressmen, that’s exactly what I said. If they voiced an objection today and he proved to be ineligible, they would be heroes in the eyes of the American people. But if they didn’t object and he proves ineligible, they will look like worms (I didn’t quite say it that way). I can’t believe Congress is letting this go.
Ken on “The Liberty Pole” program on Plains Radio last night explained the whole thing. The Senate was complicit in Obama’s ineligibility by voting UNANIMOUSLY on Senate Resolution 511 which “granted” John McCain the right to run for President. They knew he wasn’t eligible, either, and they were trying to get around the Constitution’s natural-born requirement. Obama and Hillary were the co-sponsors of the bill. So with all of them voting on it, knowing that McCain wasn’t natural-born, they were also providing cover for Obama, whom they knew wasn’t natural-born.
We will have to bring a federal lawsuit against Congress, as Dr. Orly suggested. This is an outrage. Other people have been disqualified from running for President because of their age; why not because they don’t meet the “natural born” requirement?
Congress is 100% corrupt and they need to be brought to account. In my opinion, they are nothing more than common criminals.
I just called Colorado Rep. Lamborn’s office and passed on my negative comments, summing up in one word to pass on to the Congressman (whose election campaign I worked in!)–COWARD! I had sent him several e-mails as well as a notarized Petition Point of Order and requested him to object. Also wrote to numerous Senators with the same request. Many of you have done the same and are feeling as angry as I do right now.
I think it is time for WeThePeople Continental Congress 2009 to appeal to people from all over this country. There will be three people from each state going to Philadelphia for its first convention in February. This is a movement that is taking on a life of its own and will only grow larger with the utter abandonment of American citizens by its elected officials. I don’t have much hope for the SCOTUS and will keep my expectations in check. If the truth about Obama continues to be hidden and aided and abetted by the media and our own gov’t officials to keep it that way, the anger of WeThePeople will boil over. A government just can’t keep ignoring its Constitution and its citizens without consequences. What those consequences will be remains to be seen.

I know I worked hard and sent letters to all my electors & Senators. One Senator stated he was gracious but he could not “Personally” get involved. What ever that means. It is now up the SCOTUS to do their job correctly. If not, honestly I am ready to split the US down the middle and the left can go left and the right can go right. Stay away from us WE DONT WANT BIG GOVERNMENT. We do fine without them.
We still have 12 days left. If SCOTUS declines to take a stand to defend our Constitution, it is up to WE the American People to defend the Constitution from a tyrannical, usurping government.
When we have exhausted all legal action, we still have alternatives. I’m not liking the alternatives…
You better believe Congress won’t like the alternatives either.
I spoke with an aide from Sen. Sam Brownback’s office and asked why Cheney didn’t call for objections after the vote count. He said that it is customary for those who object to stand, at which time the VP recognizes them.
I’m thinking that all our Republican Senators and Representatives seem content to let the courts handle this. This way, they can’t be viewed as appearing counter-productive with the new administration. Nevertheless, they failed to stand up and uphold the constitution based on all the evidence of Obama not being a natural born citizen.

It’s a certification, not a ratification. The votes were read out loud by 2 Senators and 2 Representatives (I believe) who ascertained that the certifications, per se, from each State are official. After the votes were read out loud from each State in alphabetical order, the President of the Senate (Vice President Dick Cheney) announced the results.
There was no voting; that had already been done by December 15, 2008. This was merely a counting of the Electoral College votes and a certification of same.

November 5th – Strike One – Secretaries of State strike out
December 15th – Strike Two – Electoral College strikes out
January 8th – Strike Three – Legislative Branch strikes out
What a joke! Do you believe that the judicial branch of government will do anything about it? Over 24 cases in America and not one judge has dared to hear a case. This is the same branch of government that has not figured out that God does not look kindly on the mass murdering of unborn children. I’m telling you, RIGHTEOUSNESS exhalteth a nation! Until we get some of that, we can kiss this country good-bye. I wouldn’t be holding my breath on SCOTUS.
I’m curious. If the ratification came by a vote, what was the vote? Were there any nays?
