Sen. Isakson: “I will be following the outcomes closely”
Late last night, Sen. Johnny Isakson (R-GA) sent the following form letter regarding Barack Hussein Obama’s eligibility:
Thank you for contacting my office regarding Senator Barack Obama’s birth certificate. I appreciate hearing from you and appreciate the opportunity to respond.
The United States Constitution requires the President to be a natural born citizen of the United States. Senator Obama’s campaign provided his birth certificate to the media amid allegations that he did not meet this qualification. The certificate, confirmed by the Hawaii Department of Health as authentic, shows that he was born in Hawaii. There are a number of lawsuits pending on this matter, and I will be following the outcomes of the cases closely. [emphasis mine]

While this doesn’t sound too enthusiastic, I must say that it’s better than Saxby’s, but not nearly as good as John Linder’s.

I agree that Isakson’s response lacked spine. I received the same reply as above from him and am trying to be optimistic that he must have received enough mail on this that he had to create a “form letter” response.

The preferable choice (especially for the Democrats) — IN WHAT WILL BE THE MOST IMPORTANT AND HISTORIC CONGRESSIONAL VOTE SINCE THE AMERICAN CIVIL WAR — should seem obvious.

It’s double talk for, “I’m going to go ahead and vote for him and see what happens after that.” In other words, he’s not going to perform any due diligence at all. I spoke to his office on Monday when they called in response to my barrage of letter regarding this matter. It was stated to me that Isakson is comfortable with the certification which was performed by the Governor of Hawaii, which we know was never done, and would have been illegal for her to do.
Isakson won’t save his own skin. He will be tossed aside with fellow cowards who refuse to even look into this controversy.

How about instead of Following, Be a man and do you Job that you where hired to do. We have to many Followers in the Goverment and not enough LEADERS.

I have done so, but not in the way that you’ve suggested.
Keep in mind that any correspondence with federal (or State, for that matter) officeholders does not, in my opinion, need to be as much “in their face” as your commentary would imply. Frankly, I think the work that blogger Justin Riggs is doing at yourfellowcitizen.com far exceeds what many have done, to date.

Please reply, if you have made any effort to correctly forward to all Senators, and Congressmen, and Delegates etc, that the Statements from Hi, department of health, were, deceitful, and premeditated fraud, just before, the November, Election:
Namely, there was:
1) no release of the long version of BO birth certificate,
2) no affidavit verifying that Obama was born in HI,
3) no doctors names nor any professional nor nonprofessional, for that fact, actualual witness of 8-4-1961, valid notorization(s), certifying that Obama was born in HI.
4) Statement did attempt to convey that Obama was natural Born, when even as his own statements and acknowledgments were to contray!
5) Hi doh, did not say whether birth records were, orginals, or if they were forwarded from Kenya, nor to the contray.
6) Hi doh, again used choice words, to deceive whole county, and United States Senators, and Congressmen, Or: are these Senators and Congressment knowingly HIDDING, behind the obvert, false statements from HI? : as many Senators, are themselves lawyers, and second nature, when someone is trying to Pull ANOTHER, MADOF-TYPE-PONSI SCKEEM, OH, JUST TRUST ME!; WHILE I LIE TO YOU, AND SCREW YOU?

Yeah, the problem with all of these people that think this case is moot is in their assumption that because he showed a Hawaii birth certificate = he was born in Hawaii.
Fact is that Hawaii Health Department issues birth certificates to individuals born abroad, so he needs to release his actual certificate of live birth to show that he was born on US soil.
Here is the rule on birth certificates from the Hawaii Department of Health (you can find it on their website):
[§338-17.8] Certificates for children born out of State. (a) Upon application of an adult or the legal parents of a minor child, the director of health shall issue a birth certificate for such adult or minor, provided that proof has been submitted to the director of health that the legal parents of such individual while living without the Territory or State of Hawaii had declared the Territory or State of Hawaii as their legal residence for at least one year immediately preceding the birth or adoption of such child.
What a complete idiot! He obviously can’t care less about this issue. His email address came back undeliverable. I had to respond on his web form on his website. He said exactly what all the PrObama people have said, “He’s got a birth certificate! He was born in Hawaii!” All these morons need the boot! We’ve saturated our government with reprobates and liberals and anti-Americans. I’m a little ticked off. I’m sick of every single person that has got any authority passing the buck, turning the cheek, and ignoring this. What is wrong with the people of this country?
If this ever got the attention it deserved, there would be riots and uprisings and all kinds of bologna. But look what’s going on because it’s NOT getting attention. Where are the riots? Where is the uprising? Apathy! People don’t care. Where is the ANGER and TEARS that our land is getting hijacked!?
Two thoughts…I got VERY similar language in emails from both my congressman and senator; however, when I spoke with my congressman’s office, it was clear he intended to do nothing. Secondly, after reading all the comments on all the websites for months, I can’t help thinking of the now-famous “pregnant man”. When interviewed by Barbara Walters regarding his sex change, he/she stated he even had his birth certificate changed to say he was born a male….he lives in Hawaii!
The problem with ‘following the cases’ is that they are being dismissed with the excuse of non ’standing’, but the ill-informed transmute non-standing into unfounded = nomerit … and here we go ’round the mulberry bush
Psst … wanna know a secret, Sen. Johnny Isakson (R-GA)… there ARE NO OUTCOMES to ANY of the cases that you say you intend to follow, because NONE of the cases are being accepted for oral argument … NOT ONE on their merits!
So why don’t you simply ask members of Congress or justices of the SCOTUS to take a stand! … grow a backbone … live up to their oath of office and defend OUR Constitution; by demanding that the self-annointed, indeterminate ‘citizen’ produce his proof that in fact he is even a citizen of the United States of America!
