Georgia Army Guard’s 48th BDE Prepares for Afghanistan
From the Times Herald of Newnan (via peachpundit.com):
[T]he sixth in a special series highlighting soldiers with Georgia National Guard’s 48th Infantry Brigade scheduled to deploy to Afghanistan in summer 2009. Georgia National Guard’s Bravo Company Second Battalion is based in Newnan at the Jackson-Pless National Guard Armory and consists of men and women from around this region of the state.
Protecting and defending the Constitution of these United States is always the top priority of these valiant men and women in uniform, no matter who occupies the office of President.
I pray they return home safely and, while they’re in harm’s way, “git ‘er done!”
-Phil

Be safe Felix. You will be missed.
dear soldiers, I hope that you do well in all of your fights and will win all of them so that we will have peace in this world. I hope that you all come home safe to your families. Thank you for what you do, like risking your lives to keep us safe at home.
Much love to my Uncle Joe Colonel Hoffman.
