Chicago Politics: Emanuel is in Deep; an Iranian Senator?
Via theobamafile.com, the Chicago Sun-Times posted an article about Chief of Staff-elect Rahm Emanuel’s role with BlogoGate:
President-elect Barack Obama’s incoming chief of staff Rahm Emanuel had a deeper involvement in pressing for a U.S. Senate seat appointment than previously reported, the Sun-Times has learned. Emanuel had direct discussions about the seat with Gov. Blagojevich, who is is accused of trying to auction it to the highest bidder.
Emanuel talked with the governor in the days following the Nov. 4 election and pressed early on for the appointment of Valerie Jarrett to the post, sources with knowledge of the conversations told the Sun-Times. There was no indication from sources that Emanuel brokered a deal, however. …
After Jarrett took herself out of the running in mid-November, Emanuel submitted a list of suitable names to the governor’s camp that didn’t include her name.
Emanuel, who has refused to comment on the issue, is not accused of wrongdoing.

Jarrett is a member of African-American and Chicago royalty. But her story and her life begin in the Middle East, not the Midwest. She was born in 1956 in Shiraz, Iran, about 570 miles south of Tehran. Her parents moved to Shiraz, known for its poets, wine and flowers, as part of a program that sent American doctors and agricultural experts to developing countries to help jump-start their health and farming efforts. Just now blaring all over CNN is the internal probe carried out by the Obama campaign on whether or not Emanuel was linked to Blago.
It is not unexpected that the Obama campaign would clear him of all wrong doing.
And just because they did so makes it even more suspicious. And because they cleared him of wrong doing does not amount to one demn hill of beans. The independent counsel needs to move fast in bring these sick people to justice.
If he gets into the oval office you can just count on Patrick Fitzgerald looking for another job. Its only logical that Obama will fire him.
Valerie Jarrett is the daughter-in-law of the late Vernon Jarrett (1918-2004); Vernon Jarrett was a friend of Frank Marshall Davis, with whom Vernon Jarrett worked at the Chicago Defender, a leftist newspaper that advocated the radicalism of the Communist Party. Vernon Jarrett later became the Chicago Tribune’s first black syndicated columnist, and was a strong supporter of Chicago’s black mayor Harold Washington, who had defeated the “Daley machine’s” candidate with the help of Chicago’s Communist Party and the Democratic Socialists of America.
Valerie Jarrett is CEO of Habitat Co., a company which managed Grove Parc Plaza, a 504-unit housing project in Chicago that fell into disrepair and is famous for its pathetic living conditions (collapsed roofs, unrepaired fire damage, rodents, and backed up sewage). Another even larger of Chicago’s subsidized housing complexes managed by Jarrett’s company was seized by the federal government in 2006 after widespread problems were identified. Note that Jarrett was CEO of Habitat at the same time she served as Chicago Mayor Daley’s planning commissioner.
Jarrett was born in Iran only because her father, a prominent black doctor, happened to be working there at the time. Her ancestry is black; she is certainly unlikely to be Jewish.
Rahm is Jewish, born in Chicago and most probably a Zionist, although I haven’t seen him “advertise” it. His wife was Christian, but converted to Judaism. Rahm’s father was born in Israel, and was a member of the “Irgun”, a radical Israeli group (some call terrorist) who in the 1940’s bombed places in Israel in an attempt to get the British out. I don’t know Jarrett’s religion, but it is very possible she is Jewish as well. We have several friends who were born in Iran and are Jewish. Just because you were born in a country that is primarily one religion, doesn’t mean everyone in that country is that religion.
Why would an Iranian US Senator bother anyone more than a Zionist US Senator does? One might be presumed pro-Iran. The other might be presumed pro-Israel. Both of these are foreign countries, both of which have committed hostile acts against the United States at one time or another. An Iranian mob, whipped into a religious fury, attacked a US Embassy in 1979. The Israeli government cold-bloodedly made a sneak attack on the US Navy ship, USS Liberty, in 1967. There are several mysteriously unlamented Zionist Senators and Representatives in the US Congress. The EXTRA hazard to US national security posed by an Iranian senator would be, what? One percent? Or none? After all, a leaky bucket with a big Zionist hole in the bottom holds no water regardless of whether there is also a small Iranian hole there.
And anyway, is Rahm Emanuel really pro-Iranian? I doubt it. I think he’s probably yet another Zionist who’s being false-flagged as an Iranian, so American won’t guess which bunch of foreigners REALLY has the US government all tied up with a bow.
