Leo Donofrio, Plaintiff in Donofrio v. Wells, has posted the Emergency Stay Applications for both his case as well as Plaintiff Cort Wrotnowski’s Wrotnowski v. Bysiewicz.

I see it as well.
My response is to take a look at the PDF document that I have on my sidebar, upper right, under Supreme Court Info, “A Reporter’s Guide to Applications.”
It’s not a very long document and very easily readable. It will provide context for what happened there.
Bottom line: It _could_ be very good news, but we won’t likely know until Friday, December 5.

Have you seen that there is a new entry on the SCOTUS docket for Donofrio’s case? It’s dated the same day as the Distribution entry and says,” Application (08A407) referred to the Court by Justice Thomas.” Any idea what that means?
