White House Press Briefing: “I don’t think I have anything to say on that”
Today, americamustknow reports that White House Deputy Press Secretary Tony Fratto — at the very end of his press briefing — had a question concerning Barack Obama’s birth certificate:
Q Good. The CEO of WorldNetDaily has called on the President-elect to release a birth certificate listing the hospital and names of parents. The White House believes that this would fully satisfy the constitutional requirement, don’t you?
MR. FRATTO: I don’t think I have anything to say on that, Lester, and I think we’re going to end it right there.
Thank you.
END 11:35 A.M. EST
It would be different if there was some sort of categorical rejection or affirmation of presidential eligibility. But, as before, folks are being quiet as to the fundamental requirement of Office of POTUS.

It's not the job of the Casa Branca to determine eligibility or pres-elect, or comment on it either. Think Fratto made the right call.
Carol, We know the States need to vet and determine the eligibility of those running for election. However, the White House certainly has the right to comment…or is free speech not accorded them under the new Junta?
