White House Spokeswoman: “Good Shape” on Obama’s Birthplace

President Bush doesn’t have a significant level of concern over allegations, including those pending before the U.S. Supreme Court, that Barack Obama does not meet the constitutional requirements to be commander in chief in the United States.
“Does the White House believe there is no question at all about the birthplace, and thus the required U.S. citizenship of the president-elect?” Les Kinsolving, WND’s correspondent at the White House, asked at a news briefing today.
“I think we’re in good shape on that,” responded Dana Perino, the spokeswoman for the president.
I again ask the question, “If President-elect Obama has nothing to hide, why does he not reveal his birth certificate?” I’ll again reiterate that the reason why this is needed is because — as has been pointed out by Mr. Leo Donofrio (Donofrio v. Wells) quite succinctly — the Office of President of the United States is the only office in the land that constitutionally stipulates a higher eligibility requirement than any other office.
The onus is on the candidate for POTUS — and is legally, morally and ethically justified — to present for forensic inspection this document that wold undeniably satisfy this aspect of constitutional eligibility.

Interesting article was found at the rabid birther site the “Post and E-Mail” regarding President Obama being born in Kenya. The writer, John Charlton, claims to have interviewed a friend of the President’s father….Not sure what to make of it but if one believes the other crap that the site writes, then they should believe this…

I knew all his background pretty well. So if we believe the other article from Charlton, then this may have some truth to it. But it is the Post and E-mail so who knows…Just like WND when they verified President Obama’s COLB, who knows what this means…

Considering there was no follow-up question such as, “So are you saying that the Administration’s official position is x,” that left the interpretation wide open.
Good observation on your part.
Nobody in the mainstream media is going to touch this unless and until there is an official ruling. That should have long since been assumed.

While I’m completely unsurprised to hear that the Bush administration wiffed on this, note the phrase:
“I think we’re in good shape on that.”
There is some wiggle room, but that could be standard CYA in case one of the cases comes through.
Also the question seemed to only regard birth place, and not his dual citizenship, or his adoption by Lolo.
I don’t think anyone is willing to take this on. It’s terrifying that no one has the balls to unseat this guy regardless of the consequences and irreversible precedent it will set.
Mr Bush, you, along with the complete list of previous Presidents, took an oath to UPHOLD the Constitution.
Even the improprities beg an investigation (VETTING process).
BHO has not revealed ANY of the documents which would support his requirements to be identified as a natural born citizen. rather he has gone above and beyond to have these documents be unavailable.

GWB-for heavens sake, do the right thing and DEMAND that Obama produce HIS vault BC along, with passports, college transcripts from all 3 schools, and any other pertinent documents to prove that he is a NATURAL born citizen.
We, the America people have the right to know and see for ourselves. If Obama has nothing to hide, then why is he hiding these? That in it self is reason enough for all of us to believe that he is NOT a Natural born citizen of the US.
Make him do this, or there will be an uprising in the country like never before—simply put—OUR CONSTITUTION is null and void.
Our wonderful lawmakers will become nothing more than terrorists themselves – holding the American people hostage. This is so sickening that 1 person can get away with something so simple to correct.
