Late this morning in HI Circuit Court, Mr. Andy Martin had his case heard (Tuesday, November 18, 2008: Andy Martin v. Hawaii Governor Linda Lingle –Â 1CC08-1-002147). Since the judge did not dismiss the motion out of hand, this could be perceived as good news. I’ll be monitoring to see what Mr. Martin officially says about the matter.

Currently, all 50 States’ Secretaries of State handle the responsibility of eligibility; that’s why going after them on this issue makes the most sense.
Also, _there is no present requirement to determine eligibility_ insofar as law enforcement outside of SOSs is concerned; see My Thoughts for how I would resolve this issue.

It amazes me that the rules for highest office in the land has not had a ‘forced’ no if’s or buts rules enforcement of all required paperwork & documents to run for office.
Even kids across our country who play little league baseball who wish to compete in the World Series at Williamsport PA have to show a long form BC to play. More for correct age and not where they were born, but still..a long form BC is required.
Police officer recruits have to show and disclose their entire life including a long form BC, polygraph, etc.
People aren’t that dumb, there is a greater agenda here that the people of the USA are being told. Unfortunately, we also have Supreme Court Justices that don’t want to put their own careers at risk or this whole thing would have been over already.
