Perkins v. Elg and The Federalist Blog Help Classify Citizenship; Why Run Ineligible Candidates?

11/29/2008

As Thanksgiving vacation is beginning to wane, information regarding presidential eligibility (especially in reference to the 3 cases at the Supreme Court level; see “Supreme Court Info,” top of sidebar) continues to percolate around the blogosphere:

  • theobamafile.com recalls a case that helps to define practical examples of “natural born” citizens
  • The Federalist Blog provides a lengthy but fantastic explanation and history to the “natural born” question
  • A great PUMA (Party Unity My A$$) YouTube video on Obama’s promise of transparency
  • patriotbrigaderadio.com and UbiReVera provide evidence that some forces are attempting to persuade Americans on the issue to amend the Constitution on non-”natural born” citizens holding the Presidency

Is the Onus of Presidential Qualification on the Parties?

11/29/2008

Both Americamustknow.com and yourfellowcitizen.com are reporting on a couple of places in Democratic party rules where the party seems to explicitly admit that they are responsible for the proper vetting and, subsequently, nominating eligible candidates.

All of this seems to tie in nicely with what House Speaker Nancy Pelosi had certified as Barack Obam being duly nominated for the party.

WTPF.org Update: Citizenship Challenge Running Twice in Chicago Tribune

11/28/2008

The We The People Foundation has released their latest update concerning their Open Letter to Barack Obama (shown here on this site and here as the foundation’s PDF). They are said to be running this advertisement both on December 1 and December 3, 2008. A DC National Press Club event is scheduled for December 8.

Update: Received word from a concerned citizen:

I just called the Chicago Tribune and the Obama Challenge Petition “is” in Today’s Issue, Monday December 01, Main News, Page 21.

The relevant portion of the update is below…

Sullivan v. Marshall: Notice and Demand to Amend Order

11/28/2008

CitizenWells reported yesterday that Donald Sullivan, Lt. Col., USAFR (Ret), Plaintiff in Sullivan v. Marshall (Case #08CV1153) will have his Notice and Demand to Amend Order heard on December 1 in North Carolina Superior Court.

This suit is one of a number of suits being pursued by common (read: non-lawyer) citizens across the country. I again reiterate that it only takes one suit to receive a positive response from the judiciary to order either Barack Obama’s birth certificate to be revealed and examined and/or examine Barack Obama’s official citizenship status at birth (see Leo Donofrio’s more full explanation to get a better grasp of this fundamental principle).

Wrotnowski v. Bysiewicz: Application Denied by Justice Ginsburg

11/28/2008

According to the Supreme Court docket for Wrotnowski v. Bysiewicz, on Wednesday, November 26, Associate Justice Ruth Ginsburg denied Cort Wrotnowski’s Emergency Stay Application. I will continue to watch and see if Mr. Wrotnowski follows the same path of Leo Donofrio’s renewed stay application to a different Justice in his case of Donofrio v. Wells without going through the hijinks of the Supreme Court’s Clerk Office (though it appears the Clerk Office drama has already started in Mr. Wrotnowski’s case).

Following is a current copy of the Supreme Court docket…

A Great Thanksgiving Story

11/27/2008

First, a great quote from Samuel Adams:

“Go on, then, in your generous enterprise with gratitude to Heaven for past success, and confidence of it in the future. For my own part, I ask no greater blessing than to share with you the common danger and common glory … that these American States may never cease to be free and independent.”

From redstate.com (via freerepublic.com), see the full transcript of Rush Limbaugh’s “real story of Thanksgiving” (or, simply see it below)…

Happy Thanksgiving,

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi Certified Obama’s Nomination

11/26/2008

CountUsOut is reporting this evening that a reader of theirs recently received a FOIA (Freedom of Information Act) response in Virginia:

via Virgil, Count Us Out Reader

I have a PDF sent from Virginia SOS that is signed by Nancy Pelosi that specifically states she certified OBAMA’s qualifications. This is important because if OBAMA is not qualified by pending lawsuits, she can be held responsible for fraud , high crimes and misdemeanors, and misrepresentation.

(will post pdf as soon as we receive it from Virgil)

Here’s the link!

Update: Sources say this document does not in any way mean that the Speaker has certified anybody’s eligiblity; this is merely stating that former Senator Barack Obama and Senator Joe Biden are duly nominated as the Democratic National Committee’s nominees for their respective offices.

Media Coverage: Christian Science Monitor, MSNBC: Berg and Donofrio

11/26/2008

The various Secretary of State lawsuits are finally beginning to percolate beyond simply the blogosphere. It’s great to see that these two sources are finally starting to take notice, though they’re not completely accurate (no surprise there):

Let’s wait and see if — as American Thinker postulates — more folks will be taking notice of what readers such as yourself have been observing all this time.

Checking Up on Obama’s Allegedly Forged Documents

11/26/2008

theobamafile.com has been reporting on Barack Obama’s Federal Election Commission document (two were filed; the second after Sen. Joe Biden came on board), where one has his signature in written form, and the other has his typewritten name in the same signature box.

However, as you’ll see below, and to follow up on a previous story here, Obama’s Selective Service document has a different signature…
